Former Nigeria midfielder Garba Lawal has expressed worries over the current form of the Super Eagles following the outcomes of the October international friendlies against African Champions Algeria and Tunisia.

The Super Eagles fell to the Desert Warriors by a lone goal and drew 1-1 with The Carthage Eagles of Tunisia, both games were played in Austria.

Lawal speaking in a chat with brila.net said he is very much aware that African football comes with its own peculiarities as against what the players experience week in week out in Europe.

He thereafter added that he hopes they are able to also meet up with the hard demand of playing and picking results on the continent.

Lawal is hopeful the team will do better when they face Sierra Leone and Benin Republic in their Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers next month.
