Real Madrid eliminate move for Man United midfielder Pogba

Despite Paul Pogba's interest in moving to the Santiago Bernabeu, Spanish outfit Real Madrid has reportedly ruled out any move for the Frenchman.

According to SportsMole:

Earlier this week, Pogba opened the door to a potential move to Real Madrid, with the France international having been linked with a switch to the Spanish capital all throughout the summer transfer window.

However, Pogba ultimately remained at Man United, where he has become a key player under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in recent months, and it appears that the 27-year-old's come-and-get-me plea to Real will go unheard.

AS claims Real Madrid placed Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe as top target. Other targets of the Los Blancos are Eduardo Camavinga of French Ligue 1 club Rennes and Erling Braut Haaland of German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund.

Paul Pogba's Manchester United contract is expected to expire next summer, however, the Red Devils can trigger a one-year extension which will keep the Frenchman at the Old Trafford until 2022.
