Serie A: Nigeria sharpshooter Victor Osimhen scores as Napoli ease past Atalanta 4-1

Napoli displayed one of their best performances in years against Atalanta who were really disappointing at the San Paolo Stadium on saturday in their Serie A match.

Hirving 'Chucky' Lozano netted a brace, Matteo Politano and Nigeria pro striker Victor Osimhen netted one each to help clinch a well-deserved victory at home.


Atalanta have clinched three wins from their first three top flight games this season but fell badly on their fourth at the San Paolo to Napoli, a win the Partenopei Manager Gennaro Gattuso described as "fully deserved".

Mexican winger Hirving Lozano netted the first and second goals for Partenopei in the 23rd and 27th minutes respectively, Matteo Politano made it three in the 30th minute.

Napoli Manager Gennaro Gattuso confessed after the match that he "wasn't expecting" this type of victory (4-1) against Atalanta but praised his team, saying "we played well"


Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen had chances before he converted one in the 43rd minute to make it four goals for Napoli inside the San Paolo.
