La Liga: Alaves 1-1 Barca - Koeman record zero win out of four as Catalans are held by 10-man El Glorioso

Barcelona have been unable to find a win after four consecutive La Liga games, a record not good for new Head Coach Ronald Koeman.

Deportivo Alaves who fought Barcelona with ten men in their Spanish La Liga game on Saturday at the Mendizorrotza held their visitors to a 1-1 draw.

The Glorious One took the lead in the 31st minute through Spanish winger Luis Rioja. Alaves were down by one man in the 62nd minute when midfielder Jota was sent off after a second yellow card.

French striker Antoine Griezmann levelled for the Catalans just a minute after Jota was sent off, however, Barca were unable to get the winner despite pressing all through the game.

After the outcome, Barca forward Griezmann said his side who are currently struggling with form this season "have to improve a lot". However, the 29-year old believes Barca will "get better" as the season progresses.

The "angry" Frenchman said: "We are very angry because we really wanted the three points and we have to improve a lot.

"We are missing a lot of chances, me more than anyone, but it's still early in the season and I know we're going to get better."

Barcelona have played six top flight games, won two, lost two and drew two, the Catalans have accumulated eight points while Deportivo Alaves have had eight clashes and earned eight points. Both are currently in the bottom half of the table.
