New Contract: Pep Guardiola extends stay at Manchester City
Spanish pro football manager Pep Guardiola has extended his stay at the Etihad after putting pen to paper for a new two-year deal.

English Premier League club Manchester City have disclosed that Head Coach Pep Guardiola has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club for the next two years.
The new contract will run till the summer of 2023 and this means the Spaniard's commitment at the Etihad has been stretched to seven years since arriving in 2016.

Since the former Spain midfielder's arrival at Manchester City, there has been a transformational effect on the playing style, the club said.
Guardiola has successfully clinched eight major honours with Manchester City.

The 49-year old Manager has also clinched amazing records at the English top flight club winning 181 games out of 245 since taking charge.
Guardiola has gone ahead to express his joy after signing the new contract, saying he is 'delighted to be with the club for two more years'.
