Zinedine Zidane's side suffered a horror night as the Los Blancos lost 1-2 to The Glorious One on home soil, leaving them six points behind the pace in La Liga.
Lucas Perez, former Arsenal forward, put Alaves in front from the penalty spot in the 5th minute of play, before the Belgium international limped off in discomfort in the 28th minute.
It got worse for the hosts when goalie Thibaut Courtois served Alaves the second goal by passing straight to striker Joselu who did not hesitate to make it two for the visitors in the 49th minute.
Casemiro pulled one back for Madrid as he attempts to spark a comeback, sadly, it wasn't enough to earn Zidane's side a point on home soil.
Hazard picked up an injury when he was tackled to the ground in the box, it was his fifth start of the 2020/21 season for the Los Blancos.
The former Chelsea playmaker could be seen limping with a frustrated look on his face as he made his way to the bench.
It is not clear yet what type of injury the Belgian picked up, but, since his transfer from Chelsea to Real Madrid in a deal worth up to £150million in the summer of 2019, Hazard has been moving from one miserable period to another in Spain.
Hazard was missing in action for Real Madrid in 24 encounters last campaign as Zinedine Zidane's side clinched the 2019/20 La Liga title.
