Champions League: Chelsea 1-1 Krasnodar - Jorginho earns a point for Blues as they finish winners
Chelsea were unable to overcome a spirited Krasnodar side in their final Champions League group game at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night, though Jorginho’s penalty ensured they remained unbeaten in Group E.

The visitors took a shock lead midway through the first half after some neat Krasnodar build-up play left Chelsea chasing shadows, before former Newcastle man Remy Cabella fired past Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The goal shocked the home side into life and they were level just a few minutes later. Some clever forward play from Tammy Abraham saw him hacked down in the area by Kaio, offering Jorginho the chance to slot home the resulting penalty kick, a chance he never looked like passing on.

The home side continued to press for a winner throughout the second half but they just couldn't find a way past a resolute Krasnodar backline, with Abraham in particular enduring a frustrating evening in front of goal.
