Real Madrid sent a message to congratulate their former talisman and current Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo for becoming the ‘top goalscorer in world football’.

The Portugal international scored another brace to help Juventus win 2-1 at San Siro and get revenge over Inter after the 2-0 loss in Serie A last time.
Marca, reported by Football Espana, claims the former Madrid star overtook the record by scoring his 763th goal in Milan yesterday.
And Real Madrid congratulated their former hero for his achievements in front of goal, saying: “The top goalscorer in our club’s history and now in world football. Congratulations, Cristiano.”

Ronaldo reportedly broke the all-time record in January.
They all seem to have different numbers, as the Czech FA claimed Josef Bican scored 821 official goals and not 759, just weeks after Pelé updated his tally to 1,283 goals.
