Premier League: Liverpool 4-0 Wolves - Fans return to see Reds maul Wanderers at Anfield
Video ⬇ Reigning Premier League holders Liverpool welcomed the return of fans to Anfield with a 4-0 mauling of Wolverhampton Wanderers in their top flight encounter on Sunday night.

Fans returned to Anfield for the first time since March after the easing of Covid-19 restrictions.
Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah opened scoring for the Reds in the 24th minute after Wolves defender Conor Coady misjudged a long ball from Jordan Henderson.
After the break, Georginio Wijnaldum made it two against Wolves after curling a shot into the top-right corner from long range.

Jurgen Klopp's Reds extended their lead to three in the 67th minute through Joel Matip's header and Nelseon Semedo found the back of his own net in the 78th minute to make it four for the hosts and help Liverpool clinch a clean sheet inside Anfield.
The victory places Liverpool second on the table with 24 points, same as toppers Tottenham Hotspur who defeated Arsenal 2-0 in London on Sunday 6, while Wolves are tenth with 17 points.
