Obasi expects Head Coach of the Super Eagles Gernot Rohr to "find a way to get the best out of the boys", however, he admitted it "sometimes difficult" to get expected results as a team.
Nigeria holds the 35th position in the latest FIFA Men's World Ranking and fourth in Africa behind Senegal, Tunisia and Algeria.
During the recent international break, Nigeria played against Algeria and Tunisia in friendlies hosted in Austria. The Super Eagles lost to the Desert Warriors of Algeria by a lone goal and drew 1-1 with the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia.
Nigeria went ahead to lock horns with neighbours Sierra Leone in the 2022 Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers with both games ending way out of expectation.
The first leg of the 2022 Afcon qualifiers between the Super Eagles and the Leone Stars in Nigeria ended 4-4 while the second leg in Sierra Leone ended goalless.
Obasi, in his chat with brila.net said, he expects German Manager Gernot Rohr to find a way to get the best out of the players.

Obasi who features as forward for Austrian club SCR Altach said: “We have a great team, but sometimes it’s difficult to say like the last game; it didn’t go the way we would have wanted, going four ahead of Sierra Leone and the opponents coming back, it’s always a very difficult situation.
“At the same time, I think we have a great team, it’s all about finding a way to get the best out of the boys, I just think that’s the key.”
The ex Super Eagles forward further said: “And sometimes, there are places where you need experience, but it’s not my job; I’m just a spectator watching from outside and it is a different ball game when you are with the team. But I wish them all the best next year.”
Chinedu Obasi featured for Nigeria in the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa among other African and World football tournaments.
