Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong is happy to see the team finish their 2019 Africa Cup Of Nations qualifying campaign on a positive note after recording a 3 - 1 victory over Seychelles on Friday at
the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, Delta State.

Striker Odion Ighalo netted Nigeria's opener from the Penalty spot, however, Melaine Rody levelled up for Seychelles eight minutes later.

Henry Onyekuru, making his official debut for the Super Eagles returned Nigeria to the front with a cool header just few minutes into the second half, and Moses Simon came off the bench to seal the victory for the hosts with the third goal.

Nigeria finished the 2019 Africa Cup Of Nations qualifying campaign as Group E toppers with 13 points.

Troost-Ekong, Udinese defender, tweeted:

The Super Eagles will play against Egypt in an international friendly next week Tuesday at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.
