Mamelodi Sundowns breezed through Lobi Stars in South Africa

Lobi Stars failed to match their words with action against Mamelodi Sundowns who defeated their visitors 3-0 in their CAF Champions League matchday five fixture at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in South Africa on Saturday.


Lobi Stars now walk a tight rope of qualifying for the quarter final stage of the competition while Sundowns are through after topping group A with 10 points from five matches. Lobi are fourth in the group with four points.

Solomon Ogbeide’s men will host Asec Mimosas of Ivory Coast in their last group game on Saturday on March 16 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
