Turkish Super Lig: Abdullahi's Bursarspor ready to slog it out with Onyekuru's Galatasaray

Turkish Super Lig match: Bursaspor vs Galatasaray on Sunday

Super Eagles defender Shehu Abdullahi's Bursaspor will play against Henry Onyekuru's Galatasaray in a Turkish Super Lig clash on Sunday at the Bursa Büyükşehir Belediye Stadium.


Abdullahi has missed a huge part of the season as a result of injury, he has featured seven times for Bursaspor netting once.

Onyekuru, currently the fourth top scorer in the Super Lig has scored 11 goals in 23 league appearances for Fenerbahce.

Fenerbahce are looking to make his loan deal from English Premier League club Everton permanent at the end of the season even though they face a big fight from other European clubs for his services.

Bursaspor occupy 15th position in the Super Lig table with 28 points from 25 matches while Galatasaray are second, eight points behind league toppers Istanbul Basaksehir.

Both Shehu Abdullahi and Henry Onyekuru are in Nigeria's squad for the AFCON 2019 qualifier against Seychelles and friendly against Egypt. Both games are scheduled to hold this month in Asaba, Delta State.
