Cristiano Ronaldo, Juventus forward, has been fined €20,000 (£17,700) by UEFA for a goal celebration in the win over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League last 16.

34-year old Ronaldo appeared to mimic Atletico boss Diego Simeone, who turned to fans and grabbed his crotch during his side's 2-0 first-leg victory.

The Portuguese forward made the gesture after completing his hat-trick in the return leg as Juventus emerged victorious by 3 - 0.

Atletico Manager Simeone was fined £17,000 for the act.

In the Champions League quarter-finals, Italian side Juventus have been drawn alongside Dutch side Ajax.
