Ahead of the Champions League encounter against Manchester City at the New Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Tottenham have received a squad boost as Fernando
Llorente returns to training on the eve of the first leg.
The 34-year-old missed Wednesday’s 2-0 win over Crystal Palace due to concussion but could find himself back in the squad now he’s been passed fit.
Llorente has scored and created 11 goals in 25 games in all competitions this season.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side haven’t been in the best form since their last European outing with two defeats from their last three, but they are coming off the back of a win against Palace in their new stadium which could serve as a motivator to put in another performance.
