Official: Giroud extends stay at Chelsea

Lazio and Inter transfer target Olivier Giroud has officially extended his Chelsea contract until June 2021. 'I am delighted to continue my journey at Chelsea.'
The striker was going to be a free agent this summer and had been on the verge of a move to Inter in January, but it was abandoned because other deals did not go through.
Antonio Conte had been hoping for a reunion next season at San Siro, while Lazio were also making a play for the 33-year old.

"I am delighted to continue my journey at Chelsea. I can't wait to get back to playing and enjoying competitive football with my teammates," he told the official club website.
