Premier League has six COVID-19 cases
English Premier League |
The Premiere League released a statement confirming out of 748 players and staff, six tested positive for COVID-19 from three different clubs.
This is significantly fewer than in Serie A, but it doesn't specify those who were positive and have since recovered.
It seems to only be a swab test, which is for current active cases.
"The Premier League can today confirm that, on Sunday 17 May and Monday 18 May, 748 players and club staff were tested for COVID-19," read a statement.
"Of these, six have tested positive from three clubs. Players or club staff who have tested positive will now self-isolate for a period of seven days."
