Following his fall out with Massimo Cellino, owner of Italian club Brescia, Italian pro striker Mario Balotelli has been left out of the team since the restart.

Brescia have officially started proceedings to terminate Balotelli's contract which means that the striker has played his last game for the 19th-placed club.

According to confirmation today, the Rondinelle had exercised their right to withdraw the 29-year-old from his contract.

Last summer, the erstwhile AC Milan and Inter Milan striker signed for his hometown club Brescia, however, it contained an exit clause if the club were relegated from Serie A.

As it stands, Brescia may be heading to Serie B as they are eight points deep in the red zone with ten games remaining.

The former Manchester City striker has featured 19 times for Brescia in the top flight and netted 5 times.

Yesterday, the Italy International was missing during Brescia training session but that was because the club chose to leave him out.
