Robert Lewandowski inspired Bayern Munich to a staggering 15th victory in a row on Saturday, keeping them unbeaten in 2020 with two goals and an assist against Freiburg.

The German champions breezed through the visitors, whose slim hopes of Europa League  qualification were buried by the result.

Joshua Kimmich opened the scoring with an extremely casual goal, sliding in after Lewandowski's lay-off with 15 minutes played.

The Polish striker made it 48 for the season with his double in the 24th and 37th minute.

The second-half played out goalless as a dominant Bayern controlled the game with ease.

Lewandowski can still add to his tally on the final matchday but is unlikely to match Gerd Muller's Bundesliga record of 40 goals in a season set in 1972.

Gerd Müller still remains Bundesliga top scorer in a season with 40 goals, Lewandowski sits at No 5 with 33 goals 👇
