AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has broken COVID-19 rules back home in Sweden by entering Hammarby's dressing room.

Ibrahimovic is in Sweden recovering from
the calf injury he sustained during an AC Milan training session.

He is expected to undergo tests on Wednesday to ascertain how long he will be out for.

He took the chance to watch Hammarby play against Osterstund in an Allsvenskan opener last night.

Hammarby is a Swedish football club from Stockholm, and Ibrahimovic owns more than 20% of the club. Hammarby plays in the Allsvenskan League and placed fourth on the table.

Ibrahimovic broke COVID-19 rules after he went into Hammarby's dressing room to congratulate the players after they discomfited Osterstund by 2 - 0.

Gazzetta dello Sport, one of the many publications that warn the striker acted contrary to health protocol as only players and technical staff are permitted to enter changing rooms.

There might be an investigation opened into his conduct, according to reports.

Recently linked with signing for Hammarby, Ibrahimovic will not be punished by Italian club AC Milan as the club granted him permission to return to Sweden on his day off.
