2022 AFCON Qualifying: Video - Cape Verde come back to stun Cameroon 3-1

Video ⬇ Cape Verde started their 2022 Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) qualifying campaign with a stunning 3-1 comeback win against Cameroon at Estádio Nacional de Cabo Verde in Praia on Friday.

The Indomitable Lions have already qualified for the continental football tournament.

The win moved the Blue Sharks up to 7 points in Group F, 2 points in front of Rwanda and 3 points clear of Mozambique.

Cape Verde will lock horns with Mozambique at the Estádio do Zimpeto in Maputo on Tuesday 30 March.

Cameroon clinched an early lead in the 14th minute through Pierre Kunde, but the hosts levelled in the 25th minute through Kuca.

Macky Bagnack handed Cape Verde an easy lead when he hit the back of his own net in the 59th minute, and Ryan Mended sealed victory for the hosts in the 69th minute.
