Europa League QF: WOL 0-1 SEV - Ocampos' late goal secure semis for Los Palanganas

English side Wolverhampton Wanderers Europa League dream has ended officially after their lone-goal defeat to Spanish side Sevilla.


Sevilla will slug it out with Manchester United in the semifinals of the tournament on Sunday.

Manchester United defeated FC Copenhagen by a lone goal on Monday to reach the last-four of the Europa League.

Striker Raul Jimenez's penalty was saved as it was Wolves' golden opportunity to get ahead of Sevilla.

After Jimenez's penalty loss, Wolves fought hard to create chances and couldn't endure for extra-time as Lucas Ocampos found the back of the net through a header in the 88th minute, successfully converting Ever Banega's cross.

This outcome have placed Wolverhampton Wanderers far away from next season's Europa League as they finished the Premier League 2019-20 season seventh.
