UEFA technical observers voted Odion Ighalo’s goal for Manchester United against LASK among the strikes in the  Europa League last season.

Ighalo scored the goal in Manchester United’s Round of 16, first leg tie against LASK at the Linzer Stadium in March which they won 5-0.

The Nigerian forward controlled a pass from Bruno Fernandes and juggled the both with both feet, before unleashing a powerful left-foot drive in the top corner.

The goal was eventually voted third behind Ruben Neves’ goal for Wolves against Espanyol and Claudiu Keseru’s left-footed volley for Ludogorets against CSKA Moscow.

Ighalo however scored two goals for Manchester United in the competition, but they missed out of a place into final to eventual champions Sevilla.
