Covid-19: Torino staff test positive

Torino announced that a member of their staff has tested positive for COVID-19, so they cancelled two upcoming friendlies.

The Granata released a statement confirming someone in coach Marco Giampaolo’s staff resulted positive in a routine swab test.

The unnamed figure is asymptomatic and has already been placed in self-isolation.

The rest of the squad is still departing for a brief training retreat in Biella, but will not be playing friendlies planned for this Friday and Saturday. Football-italia
