Premier League: Everton 2-1 Arsenal - Goodison Park glows as Gunners fall again in top flight

This outcome has left the Gunners five points above the relegation zone.
Following the home win, the Toffees have moved up to second on the table. Nigerian forward Alex Iwobi assisted Dominic Calvert-Lewin with a cross which he converted beautifully with a header and then deflected off Arsenal defender Rob Holding and straight hit the back of the net in the 22nd minute.
Mikel Arteta's side levelled in the 35th minute when Ivorian winger Nicolas Pepe netted from the penalty spot, awarded after a Tom Davies foul on Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

Everton went ahead again in the 45th minute through defender Yerry Mina after heading in Gylfi Sigurdsson's corner.

Everton are second, on 26 points, five behind leaders Liverpool while the Gunners, who have just four wins from 14 matches, are 15th on 14 points.
