Amid speculation over his stay at the Santiago Bernabeu, Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has hinted that defender Sergio Ramos could be set to remain with the Los Blancos.

34-year old Ramos is about to get into the last six months of his Real Madrid deal, however, the Spanish centre-back has been a top player for the reigning La Liga Champions, scoring three times in thirteen appearances in all competitions this season.

Perez has confidently hinted that Ramos could be persuaded to put pen to paper on fresh terms to stay at the Bernabeu as Manager Zinedine Zidane believes the defender will continue to flaunt the colours of the club.

Perez, speaking at the AGM of the club, said: "We still trust in this team to achieve great things with players like our captain Sergio Ramos, who has just been selected into the dream team of the year for the 11th time.

"Last season, along with [Luka] Modric, [Eden] Hazard and Marcelo, they won titles with the values of our club's history, such as bravery, respect and hard work. The hunger to win titles is the same and that's why we want more."
