Salah's future at Liverpool unsure after not starting against Crystal Palace

Liverpool Chiefs are reportedly not worried over the future of Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah at the club despite the playmaker's recent comments concerning his possible move elsewhere.

According to SportsMole, the Egypt international has been linked with big-money transfers to Real Madrid  and Barcelona, and Salah himself has refused to rule out a move to one of the La Liga giants in the future.

The Egypt international did not start for Liverpool in the 7-0 whitewash of Crystal Palace at the Selhurst Park in their Premier League match on Saturday 19.

However, Salah replaced Senegalese forward Sadio Mane and went ahead to bag a brace and an assist against the Eagles.

According to The Athletic, the powers-that-be at Anfield are not concerned about the prospect of losing Salah anytime soon, with the attacker tied down to the Premier League champions until 2023.

The report claims that Klopp's decision to bench Salah against Palace had nothing to do with the winger's comments over his future, and Liverpool chiefs are in no rush to enter negotiations with Salah over a new contract.

Since he joined Liverpool, Salah has recorded 110 goals and 45 assists and currently leads the Premier League 2020/21 top goalscorers list with 13 goals.
