Premier League: Burnley 0-1 Man United - Red Devils go three points clear at the top

Manchester United squeezed out a lone goal triumph at the Turf Moor over Burnley in their Premier League clash on Tuesday 12.

Thanks to Paul Pogba's 71st minute volley, the Red Devils have overtaken Liverpool to take the League number one spot with three points clear.

Man United were in full control of the encounter in which Burnley were unable to register a single shot on target until stoppage time.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men were struggling to make a breakthrough until Marcus Rashford assisted Pogba with a fine cross to the edge of the area.

The Red Devils are Premier League toppers with 36 points while Burnley are sixteenth with 16 points.
