'Big clubs in England' told to pay £100m for Napoli defender Koulibaly

Manchester United and Liverpool have reportedly been quoted £100m if they have the intention to sign SSC Napoli Senegalese central defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

Previously, Manchester City have been linked with a move for Koulibaly before they opted to sign Benfica Portuguese central defender Ruben Dias last summer.

According to SportsMole:

This has given both Liverpool and Manchester United the chance to sign the highly-rated defender, with talkSPORT's Jim White stating that they will have to pay a nine-figure sum if they wish to recruit the 29-year-old.

Koulibaly, who has made over 260 appearances for Napoli, has also featured 18 times in all competitions this campaign.

White said: "There isn't a window in the last two, three or four that we don't see big mentions of the Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

"I spoke to Aurelio De Laurentiis, the Napoli owner, and said what about your player, are there bids in for him?

"He laughed it off saying he's not for sale. He's absolutely not for sale unless one of the big clubs in England come up with £100m."
