2022 World Cup Qualifying (UEFA): Luxembourg 1-3 Portugal - European Champions survive early scare
Diogo Jota and Cristiano Ronaldo found the back of the net to help Portugal come from behind and clinch a 3-1 victory over Luxembourg in their 2022 World Cup Qualifier on Tuesday 30.

Luxembourg defeated Republic of Ireland on Saturday and took the lead against the European Champions through Gerson Rodrigues' header in the 30th minute.

But Portugal fought back and levelled through Liverpool forward Diogo Jota in the second additional minute of the first half.
The visitors took the lead early in the second half through Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Palhinha sealed the win with a header in the 80th minute.

Portugal are toppers of Group A with 7 points while Luxembourg are third with 3 points.
