The Italian top flight club wrote in a statement: “Torino Football Club announce that, during the constant examinations provided for by the protocol in force, the positivity to COVID-19 for a player in the first team has emerged.

“The player, in agreement with the health authorities, has already been placed in fiduciary isolation under the supervision of the Granata medical staff.

“Torino FC will continue to follow the procedure provided for by the protocols in force. This will allow players who test negative to carry out the regular activity.”
