Wilfred Ndidi, Super Eagles international is happy Leicester City ended the week in victory ahead of the international break which kicks off next week.


Wilfred Ndidi featured for the Foxes who grabbed an away 2 - 1 victory over Burnley in Saturday's Premier League encounter.

The Nigeria midfielder tweeted: “What a win and a good way to end the week ahead of the international break.”

It was Leicester’s second straight victory under new manager Brendan Rogers.

Playing with 10-men following the dismissal of Harry Maguire in the early minutes, Leicester still took the lead through James Maddison in the 33rd minute.

While Ndidi was fielded for the clash against Burnley, Kelechi Iheanacho watched from the bench.

Ndidi is expected to be at the Eagles Camp for the 2019 Africa Cup Of Nations qualifier against Seychelles in Asaba on March 22.
