After Chelsea thrashed Dynamo Kiev 5 - 0 in their Europa League second leg last 16 tie, Blues Manager Maurizio Sarri has said he wants to avoid former club Napoli.

French striker Olivier Giroud scored a hat-trick as the Premier League side struck five times in Ukraine to complete an 8-0 aggregate win after winning the first leg 3 - 0 at Stamford Bridge.

As posted on Chelsea official Twitter account:

While Chelsea are among favourites to clinch the Europa League trophy, Manager Sarri is yet to win a trophy in his managerial career.

The Italian's former club Napoli are among the favourites and they also made it through on Thursday, progressing 4-3 on aggregate despite a 3-1 second-leg loss to RB Salzburg.

"I prefer to face Napoli in the final," said Sarri. "First of all, because it means we are in the final and I am happy with that. And second, it means that Napoli are in the final, and I am happy.

As posted on Chelsea official twitter account:

"You know very well my relationship with the city, with the people. So, for me, it will be very difficult to play against them in Naples."
