Manchester United Manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer has confirmed that the club will be without Alexis Sanchez for "four to six weeks" after he suffered bad knee injury.

Sanchez was replaced by Diogo Dalot after picking up the injury in the early stages of the second half on Saturday's 3 - 2 victory over Southampton at Old Trafford.

Scans on Sanchez's injured knee have revealed some damage and he will be out of action for at least a month for United.

"It was a bad knee injury so it's four or six weeks, hopefully he'll recover quickly," Solskjaer said of Sanchez's injury when he spoke to the media in Paris ahead of United's Champions League last-16 second leg.
