Yobe Desert Stars appoint Taiye Yusuf as new Technical Adviser

Yobe Desert Stars have announced the appointment of Taiye Yusuf as their new Technical Adviser.

Yusuf replaces the sacked Ngozi Elechi, according to the Sporting Director of the
club, Abdurahman Ago.

Elechi was relieved as head coach of the team after an unimpressive campaign in the league Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) this season.

“He has acquired a lot of experience and I am sure he would pass this across to the players,” Ago told the media in a press conference.

“I call on the players to give him their maximum support for us to get the result we want. The club has made those decisions in its best interest and we expect absolute cooperation from all in the club, from the players to the remaining part of the technical crew.”
