Gernot Rohr, Head Coach of the Super Eagles is very sure his team will scale through to the round of sixteen of the Africa Cup Of Nations 2019 after been drawn in Group B.


The Super Eagles have been drawn alongside first-timers Burundi, Madagascar and Guinea in Group B.

The German Coach has confessed that his side's opponents are not easy teams. He led Nigeria to reach the AFCON 2019 after finishing as Group toppers with 13 points in the qualifying series.

After the draw which held in Cairo, the Capital City of Egypt, Rohr said, “It’s a group that is not easy. Madagascar were the first team to qualify for the tournament."

“Burundi have the second top scorer in the AFCON qualification while Guinea have a young team, and I think it’s not going to be easy but we are confident.”

“To my players, they have to finish the season well and not to be injured. We can be confident.”
