Real Madrid: Zidane tells Bale he won't keep him this summer

Zinedine Zidane told Gareth Bale that Real Madrid will sell him next summer as the Welshman is not in his plans, according to a report from MARCA. Zidane told Marcos Llorente and Dani Ceballos that very same thing, per that same report.
It won’t be all that easy for Madrid to sell Bale given that his agent Jonathan Barnett has said many times that the attacker just doesn’t want to leave.
Furthermore, Bale’s current salary will not be matched wherever he goes, so he would have to take a significant pay cut in order to leave the club, meaning that the offer Madrid end up receiving will not be a big one, most likely.
While Bale’s departure seems an obvious one —and probably even needed for both parts—, it’s a bit discouraging that Zidane won’t give neither Ceballos nor Llorente a fair chance to at least be part of the rotation even after their solid performances this season.
That’s specially the case for Marcos Llorente, who has been arguably a better player than Casemiro this year and proved himself when the Brazilian midfielder was injured.
