Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies.
The 19-year-old joined Bayern from Vancouver Whitecaps in January 2019 and
has quickly developed into an important player for the German champions, contributing two goals and nine assists in 34 appearances in all competitions during the 2019-20 campaign.
Davies has only just signed a new two-year contract extension at the Allianz Arena, tying him to the Bundesliga giants until the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
However, according to reports in Spain, Madrid have identified the Canada international as the perfect player to replace Marcelo as the speculation surrounding the experienced defender's future continues.
Los Blancos signed Ferland Mendy from Lyon last summer but are allegedly in the market for another left-back, with Davies said to be the club's leading target.
The teenager scored 12 times in 81 appearances for Vancouver before arriving at the Allianz Arena.
