To choose Nigeria over Netherlands "wasn't an easy decision" - Ehizibue

Former Netherlands youth international Kingsley Ehizibue says his decision to pledge his international future to Nigeria didn't come easy as he had to contemplate several variables before making up his mind.


Ehizibue was invited for the first time to the senior National Team of Nigeria for the game against Sierra Leone which was supposed to be an AFCON 2021 qualifier but the tie was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

"It wasn't an easy decision for me...I have always acknowledged my Nigerian roots. The option to play for Nigeria appeals to me beyond what many think as it will make my parents very happy," he said.
