German pro midfielder Sami Khedira may have featured the last for Italian club Juventus as report says his season is over.

Khedira made a brief appearance for Juventus in their Coppa Italia 2019-20 semifinal clash against AC Milan, however, was not available even as a substitute in the final match against Napoli inside the Studio Olympico, Rome.

Napoli, after a full-time goalless draw, defeated Juventus 4 - 2 on penalties in the Coppa Italia 2019-20 final.

This victory made it the second time Napoli beat Juventus in a Coppa Italia final. The first time happened in 2012, with Uruguayan pro striker Edinson Cavani opening scoring for the Blues. Napoli emerged champions with a 2 - 0 win.

Gazzetta dello Sport warns Khedira will be missing in action for two months after sustaining a tendon injury, ruling him out of the remainder of the season when football resumes in Italy on Saturday 20 June.

The Newspaper further suggested Juve are ready to move him and his €6m salary on this summer, leaving MLS as his likeliest destination.

Sami Khedira, 33, has clinch the Scudetto in each of his four seasons with the Old Lady.
