Sergej Milinkovic-Savic: Jose Mourinho seriously interested in Lazio midfielder

Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly set his sights on signing Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.


According to Foot Mercato, Mourinho has identified Milinkovic-Savic as the ideal player for the centre of his midfield.

During his five years at Stadio Olimpico, the Serbia international has established himself as one of the most highly-regarded players in that position across Europe.

As a consequence of his progression, the 25-year-old is valued in excess of £50m, a figure allegedly out of Spurs' price range at this time.

Nevertheless, should Mourinho give the green light for a big-money sale, the money could be used to win the race for his signature.
