To bring Napoli Senegalese pro defender Kalidou Koulibaly to the Etihad, Manchester City will have to pay a whooping sum of £65million.

Around £80m was originally quoted for the 29-year old centre-back.

The Italian football outfit will not welcome any cheap offer for the player and it is believed that Man City have picked Koulibaly as one of three huge money targets during the summer transfer window.

The English top flight giants succeeded with their appeal to lift the two-year European ban on the club.

The Court Of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) cleared Man City after reviewing February's initial ruling. This means the club will feature in the Champions League next season.

The club's Spanish Coach Pep Guardiola is in need of a centre half, left back and forward as he schemes to rebuild the Citizens to be able to challenge rivals Liverpool come next season for the title.
