Five-time Champions League winners Barcelona were battered by Bayern Munich in the most humiliating night in their history.
Lionel Messi and Co could only stand in despair as the German champions smashed eight the fallen Catalan giants to book their spot in the last four of the competition.
The damage was done in the first 30 minutes with Bayern scoring four times in a ruthless attacking display.
Thomas Muller opened the scoring after four minutes before David Alaba freakishly stuck it in his own net.

Thomas Muller and Philippe Coutinho both bagged a brace, while Serge Gnabry, Ivan Perisic, Joshua Kimmich, Robert Lewandowski all netted one each and a David Alaba own goal annihilated a poor Barcelona side.
