Premier League: Brighton 1-1 Liverpool - Pascal Gross' injury-time penalty denies champions

With the encounter heading into additional time at 1-0, Scottish defender Andrew Robertson was adjudged to have kicked the foot of English striker Danny Welbeck in the box.

Referee Stuart Attwell went over to the pitchside monitor and awarded the Seagulls a penalty kick and Gross wasted no time to hit the back of the net, helping the hosts earn a point against the Reds.

With this result, Liverpool are back to the top of the Premier League table maybe for a short while, just one point ahead of Tottenham Hotspur and three points ahead of Chelsea, both teams will slug it out on Sunday in a top flight encounter.

Chelsea will host Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday 29 in a Premier League clash at 17:30 inside the Stamford Bridge.
