Super Eagles of Nigeria German-born pro goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has said he is "ready" for their 2022 Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Sierra Leone.

Okoye posted on twitter after the Super Eagles evening training session that he is "ready" for the encounter against Sierra Leone.

21-year old Okoye, born in Düsseldorf, Germany, who is top choice for Nigeria expects to start for the Super Eagles against their visitors.
Maduka Okoye plays for Dutch Professional football outfit Sparta Rotterdam in the Netherlands Eredivisie which is the country's top flight football league.
The clash between Nigeria and Sierra Leone will kick off by 17:00 on Friday 13 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in the city of Benin, Edo State, Nigeria.

He featured for Nigeria in the international friendlies against reigning African champions Algeria and Tunisia, both games were played in Austria.
In 2019, Okoye also featured for Nigeria in the friendly against Brazil in Singapore, an encounter which ended 1-1.
