2022 Afcon Qualifier: Senegal 2-0 Guinea-Bissau - Mane inspire Lions of Teranga to victory - see all games and results

Senegal defeated Guinea-Bissau in their 2022 AFCON qualifier by two goals to nothing with Liverpool forward Sadio Mane inspiring the Lions of Teranga with a 44th minute goal from the penalty spot.

The Senegal-Guinea-Bissau clash was one of the first games since last November in the Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak which disrupted the African international schedule.

Sadio Mane opened scoring for Senegal from the penalty spot in the 44th minute and Opa Nguette sealed the victory in the 74th minute for the hosts against Guinea-Bissau.

Senegal are leaders of Group I with nine points after three encounters while Guinea-Bissau are third with three points.
