Premier League: Man City 5-0 Burnley - Citizens go ruthless, Mahrez score hat-trick
Video ⬇ Manchester City went merciless against Burnley with a five-goals-to-nothing victory at the Etihad Stadium in their Premier League match on Saturday 28 with Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez netting a hat-trick.

Mahrez opened scoring for the hosts early in the 6th minute and went ahead to double the lead in the 22nd minute.
French defender Benjamin Mendy converted Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne's cross in the 41st minute to place Man City three goals in front.
After a very short period of Burnley dominance, Spanish youngster Ferran Torres made it four for the Citizens and Mahrez completed his hat-trick to seal the win for City in the 69th minute.

Man City Boss Pep Guardiola whose side lost their previous top flight encounter 2-0 against Tottenham Hotspur said: "It was important to come back with a victory in the Premier League.
"We play a lot of games so to play 90 minutes and maintain a good level is not easy, but there are always things to improve on.
"It's important for our people to score goals and it is a chance for them to keep playing."
