The hosts won all three points when Pedro Neto netted the winner in the 5th minute of additional time after full time.

Olivier Giroud put Chelsea ahead in the 49th minute with an excellent volley from close range.

But Wolves levelled 16 minutes later through Daniel Podence as his deflected effort caught Edouard Mendy out.

Pedro Neto struck at the death as he found the corner, punishing the Blues on the counter.

American attacking midfielder Christian Pulisic returned for Frank Lampard's side following a hamstring injury, produced a fine cross for German forward Timo Werner in the 15th minute, however, couldn't connect with it.

With this outcome, Wolverhampton Wanderers are tenth on the table with 20 points while Chelsea are fifth with 22 points, both teams have had 13 top flight encounters.
