POR 2-1 JUV: 'We studied Juventus well' - Defender Pepe

FC Porto clinched a stunning 2-1 triumph over Italian giants Juventus at the Estádio do Dragão and defender Pepe has come out to say that the hosts 'studied' their visitors 'well'.

Both goals for Porto came in the beginning of each half, the opener after a poor Rodrigo Bentancur back-pass, then Moussa Marega straight after the restart.

Pepe told Eleven Sports in Portugal: “We studied Juventus well.

“The team assimilated what the coach asked. We knew that we had to press hard to keep Juventus from playing their football. “It’s difficult when conceding goals at home in this type of fixture, but we played a great game.”
