Premier League: Man United 9-0 Southampton - Red Devils crush nine-man Saints
Manchester United put nine goals past Southampton at the Old Trafford in their Premier League match on Tuesday night.

The visitors saw Alexandre Jankewitz and Jan Bednarek sent off in the 2nd and 86th minute respectively.
According to BBCSport:
It is only the third time a team has lost 9-0 in the Premier League, with United also beating Ipswich Town by that margin in 1995.
It was a stunning ending as United almost matched their club record 10-0 victory over Anderlecht in 1956.
Defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka opened scoring for the hosts which was his first goal at Old Trafford, Marcus Rashford and Edinson Cavani also recorded their names on the scoresheet.

Jan Bednarek helped Manchester United extend their lead when he hit the back of his own net.
Frenchman Anthony Martial ended his eight-match goalessness with a brace, Scott McTominay drove home from the edge of the area.

Bruno Fernandes scored from penalty spot after Jan Bednarek brought down Anthony Martial. Daniel James sealed the 9-goal victory for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side in the the third additional minute after full-time.
Manchester United are second with 44 points, same points as topper Manchester City who have two games unplayed, while Southampton are twelfth with 29 points.
